No. You only need a referral from your doctor if you are being treated following a work injury (claiming Workers Compensation) or following a motor vehicle accident (Green Slip Third Party).

On your initial consultation, a thorough subjective and objective examination of your condition will be performed by one of our Physiotherapists. The ‘hands-on’ assessment will allow us to structure a suitable treatment plan through various treatment modalities. We ask that you bring any relevant medical information (e.g. doctor’s reports, X-ray reports etc) for the Physiotherapist to review before assessing your problem.

Your treatment will be carried out by a qualified physiotherapist.

30 mins to 1 hour depending on individual treatment. Our Physiotherapists endeavour to keep to their appointment schedules, but occasionally there are unanticipated circumstances, which are unavoidable.

Your Physiotherapist will establish and plan a suitable program for you to continue with at home. If you have any problems or questions between or after visits, you can call us at any time.

Depending on the type of injury and its severity the number of treatments required and their frequency will vary. Your Physiotherapist will discuss this with you on your initial consultation to give you a guide. Your physiotherapist will give you exercises to help manage your condition yourself. This will help to reduce the number of treatments you require.

Health fund rebates are not claimable for yoga. If you have private health cover and subscribe to the “extras” cover you should be eligible to claim part of your treatment fee. There are many different schemes and you will need to check your level of cover with your insurer in order to find how much they will contribute towards your fees.

If you are covered, most health funds are online with HICAPS, which we provide. Please bring your health fund card with you in order for us to directly charge your fund, so you only need to pay the gap payment. Otherwise, we can provide a receipt for you to claim with your fund independently
